Olympic Stadium
The current Olympic Stadium is the result of a renovation of the one that had existed in Barcelona since 1929. It was given a new infrastructure and facilities with high technology and its capacity was increased. The façade of the old stadium is the work of Pere Doménech i Roure, the front was sculpted by Vicenç Navarro and the statues that can be seen above the entrance are by Pau Gargallo.
