Palau Sant Jordi

Since it was opened in 1990, it has become a symbol of Olympic Barcelona and of the city itself. The Palau was built by the architect Arata Isozaki. The roof is a great metallic net combined with vitreous ceramic tiles, the result of an astonishing design by the Japanese Mamoru Kawaguchi.
