CATALONIA
Catalonia is a land with a clearly Mediterranean culture which has its origins in prehistoric times.
Its character was forged during the Middle Ages, when the first laws were promulgated and its own Government institutions were set up.
Nowadays it is one of the most dynamic autonomous communities in the Spanish state, both culturally and economically.
The part of our open-air museum dedicated to Catalonia reproduces several typical places where social life goes on, such as public squares.
