EXTREMADURA
All the buildings from Extremadura reproduced in El Poble Espanyol are mansions and palaces on which you can see the noble coats of arms confirming the power of the aristocracy. Almost all the buildings date from the 16th century or were remodelled and beautified during that century.
Most are from Cáceres, a town which in 1986 was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
