BALEARIC ISLANDS
The Balearic Island archipelago is made up of five islands and several islets. It is divided into two groups of islands: in the north, the Gimnesias (Majorca, Minorca and Cabrera) and in the south-west the Pitiüses (Ibiza and Formentera).
Their climate is mild, with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, with very beautiful landscapes and beaches and an extremely diverse range of tourism and culture.
The Balearic Islands are represented at this open-air museum by a single building, from Palma de Mallorca.
