Casa de las Cadenas

Corella
This house has two of its façades in the Plaza Aragonesa and its architecture fits in perfectly with that of Aragon.
Its construction ended at the beginning of the 18th century.
In 1711, it served as accommodation for King Philip V, Queen Maria Louisa of Savoy and Prince Louis. Thanks to a garlic cure taken by the Queen, her health improved and the King granted the house the privilege of hanging chains from its balconies (hence its name, House of the Chains). A large coat of arms indicates that the house belonged to the Sesma family.
