Off Massana
The Off Massana workshops are a space offering students an intermediate space between college and the job market, with a new
conception. Artists and designers experiment in common projects included in the real context.
Education has a multiple role in a complex world like ours. On the one hand, students must be given the technological tools
necessary for good professional practice; on the other hand, they must be helped to structure their knowledge. Information
circulates profusely and is within everyone's reach, but turning it into theories is a difficult job. In addition to this,
colleges must encourage the construction of personal values that allow students to become included in a poorly defined, in
many cases limited and rapidly changing employment environment.
Studies are increasingly short, rapid inclusion in the labour market is demanded and yet, paradoxically, the presence of postgraduate
courses increases.

DESCRIPTION
Off Massana continues to consolidate its essence, maintaining its proximity to modern art and having an extremely varied audience. The concepts, supports and reflections each participant brings to this initiative are increasingly close to personal discovery: an injection of spontaneity, freshness and youth. This group, renewed every year, feeds off the ideas "I know" and "I am" and seeks to repay our attention. They are ready, they are taking their first steps in the difficult world of art, and they have decided that Off Massana is to be their platform for production and exhibition. Participants and visitors await the moment of mutual delight.
