The show

Bernardo has a ton of questions he would like answered: "Where did the moon, the sun, the stars and the Earth come from?" "How is it that all the dinosaurs died?" "Before being in mum's belly, where was I?" One night, some very strange characters enter his room, build a circus tent and put on a fascinating show for him on the origins of life.

From the Big Bang to the pregnancy of a modern homo sapiens by way of the extinction of dinosaurs, Madre Tierra (Mother Earth) gives an exciting overview of the history of planet Earth through the language of objects and puppets, inspired by the questions our children ask us. It is visually beautiful and features music by Johann Strauss, projections, Chinese shadows, masks and text that will amaze children and adults alike.
