Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra

Next Thursday, October 18, 2018, the Cruïlla Tardor concerts are back at the Hivernacle del Poble Espanyol, the perfect stage for enjoying unique concerts under the stars in an oasis where the vegetation, good music and good vibes will flow.

The headliner will be Emir Kusturica, an internationally-recognised film director and musician from Serbia who will make you dance along to his country rhythms, Turkish marches, Italian classics, techno-pop sounds and gypsy trumpets. Kusturica will be accompanied by The No Smoking Orchestra, with whom he will present his new album and also perform his hits.

The concert will come to an end with the performance by BGKO (Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra), a band created in 2012 in Barcelona that’ll make you dance non-stop to its songs inspired by Klezmer music, jazz and gypsy music. The group has become a benchmark of Balkan music in Barcelona and has achieved international fame in a very short period of time.
