Enjoying Barcelona with kids is possible for everyone, thanks to spaces such as Poble Espanyol. Our centre is the perfect place for youngsters, combining the past with the present and mixing culture with fun. In fact, it's like a story come to life! The 49,000 square metre space with a large outdoor area makes Poble a unique place for kids to enjoy and discover many new experiences. A safe, car-free environment, with surprises around every corner, makes Poble a centre of culture and leisure for kids from 1 to 99 years old! Boredom is forbidden! Poble Espanyol should be top of the list for anyone looking for child-friendly activities in Barcelona. You too, locals! Simply strolling the streets and squares that represent popular Spanish architecture is already an experience, especially if you take the video tour which follows the journey made by the centre’s creators, in a classic Spanish car! As you walk, let yourself be carried away by the music that you will hear in the areas of the centre where the Feeling Spain spaces are located. There are five amazing immersive audio-visual experiences for you to enjoy. In these spaces you will be "transported” to discover the landscapes, customs and traditions that are most characteristic of the key areas of the country (Southern Spain, Northern Spain, Central Spain, the Mediterranean and the Camino de Santiago). Don't miss a visit to the handicraft workshops, where kids and adults can see how the best professionals work with care and expertise, be it with leather, wood, jewellery or metal, not to mention one of the few remaining glass kilns in Spain. Don’t miss the daily handicraft show at Poble Espanyol - you won't find this anywhere else in Barcelona - or Spain, for that matter! Another family favourite is the Fran Daurel Museum, a collection of contemporary art where you can discover and admire the works of artists such as Picasso, Dalí and Miró. We also have the Sculptural Garden, a large natural space which is home to imposing sculptures and two large slides, where both kids and adults will have a wonderful time.

A plan to enjoy Barcelona with kids... 365 days a year!
