After eighteen months of silence, Txarango returns to the stage in a big way: on 12 and 13 May, to present their new album “El cor de la terra” at the first edition of Cruïlla de Primavera at Poble Espanyol.
The group, which is named after a string instrument from the Andes called charango, was set up in Barcelona in 2010 and plays a mix of different styles such as pop, rock, Jamaican and Latin rhythms, and above all, reggae.
Txarango has shared the stage with artists such as Manu Chao, La Pegatina, Radio Bemba or Che Sudaka , recorded 5 albums and performed in the most important venues of Catalonia, Spain and Europe, in additional to receiving countless awards by the press and the music industry.
With links to the world of the circus and the clown, and in a solidary spirit of protest, Txarango conveys the festive spirit of street music and transmits its boundless energy to its fans.
