Austria’s most successful international artist Marcus Füreder, better known by his stage name Parov Stelar, will bring his energetic and infectious Electro Swing to the Plaza Mayor in Poble Espanyol on 4th July as part of his The Burning Spider Tour.
Held by many to be the founder of the genre fusing swing with more contemporary sounds such as house, dance and hip hop, amongst others, Parov Stelar will perform his hits as well as newer songs such as “Mama Talking” and “Cuba Libre” from his latest album The Burning Spider. This is the 13th album of a career that began in the 90s. In this concert, he will keep the classic Electro Swing sound and will also mix in other jazz and blues inspired rhythms. The album tour will take Parov Stelar Band from performances in Australia and New Zealand to the biggest festivals in Europe.
This prolific artist has collaborated with a whole host of stars such as Tony Bennet, Lady Gage, Marvin Gaye, Lana del Rey, Bryan Ferry and Aron Chupa, to name just a few, and his music has featured in a long list of films, TV programs, and advertising campaigns.
Don’t miss Parov Stelar, the leading light of Electro Swing, live in concert in Barcelona.
