Every Thursday from June 27 to August 29 (except July 18), there will be live outdoor performances from the best blues bands in the scene. A total of nine performances will fill Thursday nights with rhythm and life in the Baluard area of Poble Espanyol.
Saturday nights in July and August will fill the Montjuïc mountain with smiles! From June 29 to August 31 (except July 20) Poble Espanyol will host the fourth edition of RiuEstiu, which is the Barcelona Summer Humour Festival, with the aim of making you enjoy the comedians higly-rated shows.
This summer, Saturdays will be different. From July 6 to August 31 (with the exception of July 20 and August 3) Poble Espanyol will be packed with excitement and fantasy with the first release of "Magia Júnior" outdoors. The ideal activity to enjoy with the family!
RiuEstiu & Hushhush Comedy
For those that prefer comedy in English, RiuEstiu & Hushhush Comedy are coming. Two comedy show sessions in English on Wednesday July 24th and August 7th.
Rock concerts for families
On Saturday August 10th, the Poble Espanyol will become the rock temple for children and adults! A proposal that consists of a live performance from the tribute band of one of the greatest bands in the history of rock. The well-known hits will blare out, at an adequate volume for the little ones, and will get the entire family on their feet.
IN-EDIT on tour
Two screenings from the Barcelona International Documentary Film Festival (one in July and another in August). Being outdoors, it is a unique way to enjoy of one of the documentary jewels that make up the Festival IN-EDIT schedule on tour!
Acoustic Pomelo,the greatest new musical of the year is a project that will surely become a benchmark this summer, getting you to enjoy some unique sunsets in the fresh air of Barcelona, in an exceptional setting surrounded by nature and without cars. There are 4 sessions of modern music (two in July and two in August) by artists such as Jeff Darko and Ego Sex.
Mas i mas
A festival that encompasses all kinds of music genres: jazz, blues, soul, funk, flamenco, electronic, techno, rock, pop & rock and world music among many others. This event, which has become a renowned August nightime event in Barcelona, will have its closing concert in the Plaza Mayor of Poble Espanyol.
